Should students be given homework during the holidays?

Hi, Everyone. I am Angellyn, before I start. Let me ask one question, have you guys enjoyed your holidays? In my speech, let’s talk about students, teachers, and holidays. “should students be given homework during the holidays?” Again, should students be given homework during the holidays?

Some teachers might think that holiday homework assignments are a good idea and a way to keep students’ brains sharp over a break. but in reality, students typically get more than enough homework during the rest of the school year.

Homework has always been a controversial topic, but when it’s assigned over the holidays, it can spark even more debate.

Let’s take a look at why holiday homework assignments are just not worth it. One of these ‘others’ is during holiday breaks from school are a time for students to take a break from their studies, spend time with family, and enjoy the true meaning of a holiday.

Let me state all the reasons why students should not be given homework during the holidays. First, spending time with family is important. Second, many families travel during the holidays. And the most important thing is, not every student can always manage their time. As for me, as a student, a daughter, and a sister.

So, with that students are forced to multi-task their work just to finish it as early as the deadline, and I know some of you can relate to me.

According to doctors, multitasking can affect students’ brains and health. One more thing, it’s really hard to enjoy your holiday moment while feeling bothered that you still have assignments to do. Multi-tasking is risking students’ health from brain damage.

So, to finish this speech, I’d like to tell this as a student who experienced a mental breakdown because of overloaded school work.
